Reverend Father Sully Guillaume-Sam
Reverend Father Sully is an Episcopal/Anglican priest with nearly 26 years of ordained ministry, with over over fifteen years in Episcopal parish leadership and ten years as a Roman Catholic priest. Born and educated in Haiti, he holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Theology and Sociology, a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Fordham University, and a Master of Science in Leadership from Duquesne University.
Fluent in Haitian Creole, French, and English, Fr. Sully brings a global perspective to ministry, having visited nearly twenty countries and worked extensively with diverse communities.
His pastoral vision emphasizes education, community engagement, and fostering meaningful connections between parishioners, local churches, and their surrounding neighborhoods.
Most recently, he served for eleven years as the ninth rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bushwick before being called to St. Gabriel’s.
A devoted husband and father of three, he values family, cultural exchange, and lifelong learning, seeing himself as both deeply Haitian and a citizen of the world.
